Ingredients

  • 1 chicken cut into pieces (or 4 chicken breasts)
  • 400 g sliced ​​mushrooms
  • 250 ml cream
  • 2 glasses dry white wine (Entre-Deux-Mers is perfect for this recipe)
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

On the stove:

  1. Put pepper and salt on the chicken
  2. Place the chicken in a cooking pot and pour wine over it
  3. Add the mushrooms
  4. Simmer for 30 minutes

  5. Regularly check if there is enough liquid in the cooking pot, if necessary, supplement with white wine

  6. At the end of the cooking time, add the cream and leave it just before boiling point

  7. Add salt and pepper if necessary

  8. If you wish, you can bind the sauce with an egg yolk or corn flour

In the microwave:

  1. Use a dish with a lid that is suitable for the microwave oven

  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper

  3. Place the chicken in the dish
  4. Add the white wine and mushrooms
  5. Allow the microwave to run at full force for 10 minutes.

  6. Twist the chicken pieces
  7. Microwave 5 minutes at full force

  8. Add the cream and microwave for a few minutes at full force but make sure the cream does not boil

  9. Check the seasoning and add salt and pepper if necessary

  10. You can bind the sauce with an egg yolk or corn sauce
