Chocolate mousse

Chocolate mousse is a very easy and quick dessert to prepare. 

It is a classic that continues to delight young and old. Originally from France where it was created by Charles Fazi (Switzerland), the servant of Louis XVI.

Ingredients

  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 125 ml cream
  • 50 g sugar
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. melt the chocolate in a double boiler
  2. beat the egg yolks with sugar
  3. add the melted chocolate
  4. beat cream and stir in half the chocolate
  5. beat the egg whites in snow
  6. gently stir the egg whites to the chocolate with a spatula
  7. pour the mousse into ramekins and put them in the fridge for the foam solidifies
