Coffee and Amaretto mousse

A creamy dessert for gourmets and a real calorie bomb... 

But very quick and easy to make and oh so yummy!

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 110 g powdered sugar
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 2 tsp coffee extract
  • 1 tbsp Amaretto
  • cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Mix in a large bowl the egg yolks and sugar for about 3 minutes, until the mixture becomes white

  2. Add the mascarpone and mix

  3. Beat the egg whites

  4. Add them to the mixture and mix carefully to avoid breaking the structure
  5. Add the Amaretto and coffee liqueur
  6. Pour the preparation into 6 glasses and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours
  7. Sprinkle with cocoa powder just before serving

Recipe Notes

This mixture may also be placed in the freezer to make ice cream.
