Coffee and Amaretto mousse
A creamy dessert for gourmets and a real calorie bomb...
But very quick and easy to make and oh so yummy!
- 4 eggs
- 110 g powdered sugar
- 250 g mascarpone
- 2 tsp coffee extract
- 1 tbsp Amaretto
- cocoa powder
Mix in a large bowl the egg yolks and sugar for about 3 minutes, until the mixture becomes white
Add the mascarpone and mix
Beat the egg whites
Add them to the mixture and mix carefully to avoid breaking the structure
Add the Amaretto and coffee liqueur
Pour the preparation into 6 glasses and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours
Sprinkle with cocoa powder just before serving
This mixture may also be placed in the freezer to make ice cream.
