Frittata with cheese and potatoes
Frittata is an Italian dish consisting of eggs and other ingredients such as vegetables and meat.
It is prepared in two steps: first prepare the omelet in a pan, then finish the dish under the grill.
One of the most famous recipes is the frittata di cipolle or frittata with onions.
- 1 potato boiled
- 2 slices bacon
- 4 eggs
- 3 tbsp grated cheese
- 30 g butter
- salt & pepper
slice the potato into 1 cm cubes
cut the bacon into pieces
fry the bacon in butter until nicely colored
add the potato to the bacon and bake 5 min. until golden
whisk the eggs and add salt and pepper
add the eggs into the pan and reduce the heat
cook for 10 min. or until the fritatta is firm
set the grill to its highest setting
sprinkle the omelette with grated cheese and grill 2-3 minutes
