Ingredients

  • 1 egg yolks
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tbsp water
  • lemon juice of about 1/2 lemon

Instructions

  1. melt the butter in the microwave (1-2 min. at maximum power)
  2. in a bowl, whisk the egg yolk with water and lemon juice
  3. add the melted butter and whisk
  4. put in the microwave for 30 seconds, maximum power
  5. whisk 1 minute and put back in the microwave for 15 seconds. maximum
  6. repeat until point 5 until your hollandaise sauce has the right consistency
