Mayonnaise for dummies
How to prepare mayonnaise, easier and faster: with the kitchen robot or a small blender.
Now you no longer have an excuse to buy mayonnaise in a jar.
This mayonnaise can be kept one week in the fridge in a sealed container.
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp mustard
- 200 ml canola oil
- salt & pepper
put the egg in the food processor kitchen
add mustard, pepper and salt
add 1/4 of the oil and mix until the mixture is smooth
add the remaining oil and mix with 1/4 each time until the mixture is smooth and thickened
- Peanut oil can be used but I recommend canola oil, sunflower or corn oil which are finer.
- You can season the mayonnaise in different ways: by adding lemon juice, a little mustard, garlic , curry, herbs... so this is a base that can be declined to infinity.
