Panna cotta with coffee and vanilla

Panna cotta is an Italian dessert. In its original form, it is prepared with cream to which fruit or nuts are added. Later sugar and gelatin were added. 

It is a very fresh and light dessert.

  • 10 cl water
  • 5 g gelatin leaves
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 pod vanilla
  • 25 cl cream
  • 2 tsp coffee liqueur


  1. Let the gelatin get tender in cold water

  2. Open the vanilla pod in the length and scrape the seeds out

  3. Mix the cream, coffee liqueur and sugar in a pan

  4. Bring to a boil and remove from the fire

  5. Squeeze out the gelatin leaves and mix them with the preparation
  6. Pour the mixture into small bowls

  7. Leave at least 2h in the fridge
