Tasty sugar pie, straight from the oven! 

With this recipe you will have guaranteed success! Since I've tried it, my family asks me often to make a new one.

Ingredients

Dough:

  • 250 g flour
  • 65 ml water
  • 1 egg
  • 10 g fresh yeast or 5 g of dry yeast
  • 12 g granulated sugar
  • 6 g salt
  • 100 g butter softened

Filling:

  • 200 ml cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 200 g icing sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla-flavored sugar
  • 5 knos butter

Instructions

Dough:

  1. beat the egg and add the water and yeast
  2. put the flour in a bowl and add the sugar and salt to it
  3. add the soft butter
  4. add the water with the egg and yeast
  5. knead until you have a smooth dough
  6. roll the dough into a ball, wrap it in film and leave for 15 min. in the refrigerator
  7. if your cake pan is in metal or porcelain, brush it with butter. With silicone cake form, this is not necessary.
  8. remove the dough from the refrigerator and roll it out into a flat circle of 3-4 mm thickness
  9. cover the cake pan with the dough and press down firmly so that the dough is gets slightly over the edge
  10. brush the edge of the dough with beaten yolk in a little milk
  11. preheat the oven to 230 °C

Filling:

  1. cover the dough with icing sugar
  2. beat 2 egg yolks with the cream and vanilla sugar
  3. pour this mixture over the icing sugar
  4. add the knobs of butter on top

Baking:

  1. bake the cake for 15-20 min.at 230 °C
  2. remove the cake from the cake pan and let it cool on a wire rack
